Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of complex IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Ensure strict adherence to Federal IT security standards, FISMA compliance, and FedRAMP requirements.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, executive stakeholders, and external contractors.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, scope creep, and compliance issues proactively.
- Oversee Agile and Waterfall methodologies to optimize development processes and team performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing IT projects within the Federal Government or Defense sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Deep understanding of ITIL, Agile, Scrum, and traditional Waterfall project management frameworks.
- Strong expertise in government contracting regulations and financial management.
