Responsibilities
- Lead the complete design process from initial concept sketches and space planning to final installation.
- Develop detailed construction documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and reflected ceiling plans.
- Source and specify high-end furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and materials tailored to client needs.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement and logistics for seamless project delivery.
- Collaborate directly with architects, contractors, and artisans to ensure design integrity during construction.
- Mentor junior design staff and review technical drawings for accuracy and quality control.
- Present design concepts and mood boards to high-net-worth clients with professional confidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a high-end luxury design firm.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of interior construction details, building codes, and material sustainability.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple high-budget projects simultaneously.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design sensibilities and technical precision.
- NCIDQ certification is highly preferred but not required.
