You will lead projects from conceptual design through construction administration, translating client aspirations into exquisite, functional environments. We value creativity, technical precision, and a sophisticated aesthetic sensibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of interior design projects, from initial concept and space planning to FF&E procurement.
- Develop detailed construction document sets, including elevations, sections, and custom millwork details.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the design process.
- Direct the selection and specification of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting fixtures.
- Oversee on-site construction administration and conduct regular punch-list walkthroughs to ensure design integrity.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and specialized consultants to meet rigorous project timelines.
- Mentor junior design staff and oversee the quality control of internal drafting output.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in a high-end design firm.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of interior detailing, building codes, and ADA compliance standards.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering luxury projects on budget.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design sensibilities and technical documentation capability.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client presentations.
