Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of the interior design process from conceptualization and schematic design to design development and construction administration for multiple projects.
- Develop innovative and high-quality design solutions that meet client objectives, budget, and timeline while adhering to Veridian Design Studio's standards.
- Produce comprehensive design documentation packages, including drawings, specifications, material selections, and furniture layouts.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional results.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, materials, and technologies, integrating new ideas and sustainable practices into design solutions.
- Present design concepts and proposals to clients with confidence and clarity, effectively communicating the vision and value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in high-end residential, luxury hospitality, or commercial interior design.
- Proven track record of successfully leading projects from initial concept to final installation.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape).
- Strong understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and sustainable design principles.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated aesthetic, technical prowess, and a diverse range of projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
