You will play a pivotal role in every stage of the design process, from conceptual development to final installation. This is an opportunity to lead prestigious projects and mentor a talented group of junior designers in a collaborative, creative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from initial concept through to construction administration.
- Create comprehensive design development packages, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed millwork drawings.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project vision and budget.
- Source premium furniture, lighting, art, and high-end materials that align with our studio's aesthetic.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and external consultants to ensure design integrity during the build phase.
- Mentor junior staff by providing technical guidance and design direction.
- Oversee on-site installations and manage styling for final photography.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in luxury residential or boutique hospitality sectors.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end projects and exceptional technical drawing skills.
- Deep knowledge of FF&E sourcing and vendor relations within the US market.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.
