Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of high-end interior design projects from initial concept development to final installation.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and integrate feedback effectively.
- Develop detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, renderings, and material specifications.
- Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
- Oversee construction administration, ensuring design integrity and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and finishes, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines.
- Research and stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in high-end commercial or luxury residential interior design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in concept development, space planning, material selection, and custom detailing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure preferred.
- Deep knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and sustainable design practices.
