Aura Collective is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our award-winning team in the heart of New York City. In this role, you will lead high-profile projects from initial conceptualization through to final installation, working closely with elite clients and our talented architectural team.
You will play a pivotal role in defining the firm's visual identity, mentoring junior staff, and delivering world-class design solutions that push the boundaries of modern interior architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete design lifecycle from concept development and space planning to FF&E specification.
- Produce high-fidelity 3D visualizations, detailed construction drawings, and complex material palettes.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and procurement processes to ensure flawless project delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and specialized consultants to maintain design integrity.
- Direct client presentations and translate complex needs into refined, functional, and beautiful interiors.
- Oversee on-site installations and manage quality control throughout the construction phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in a luxury or boutique design firm.
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape.
- Strong knowledge of interior detailing, construction documentation, and building codes.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing high-end commercial or residential projects.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to lead client-facing interactions.
- NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure is highly preferred.
