Aura Studio Collective is seeking a visionary Senior Interior Designer to join our award-winning team in SoHo. We bridge the gap between architectural integrity and emotive interiors, creating bespoke spaces for luxury residential and high-end commercial clients. As a key member of our creative leadership, you will oversee projects from conceptualization through procurement and installation, ensuring every element aligns with our signature aesthetic of refined modernism.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of interior design projects, from initial client briefings to final site styling.
- Develop comprehensive design packages including mood boards, space planning, and custom millwork detailing.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure precise execution of design intent.
- Direct the selection and specification of high-end materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
- Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of building systems.
- Mentor junior design staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative studio culture.
- Oversee project budgets and procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in luxury residential or boutique hospitality design.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture construction, textile applications, and sustainable design practices.
- Proven track record of managing project budgets and complex vendor logistics.
- Exceptional visual communication and presentation skills, with a sophisticated design portfolio.
- NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure is highly preferred.
