Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design projects from concept development to final installation
- Develop detailed FF&E specifications, mood boards, and 3D visualizations
- Manage client relationships and project timelines within budget constraints
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and architectural partners
- Research emerging materials and sustainable design practices
- Mentor junior designers and foster collaborative studio culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or Design (NCIDQ certification preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in high-end residential/commercial design
- Portfolio demonstrating innovative material applications and spatial storytelling
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and accessibility standards
- Exceptional presentation skills and client management abilities
- Passion for sustainable design practices and artisan craftsmanship
