Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design execution from conceptualization to construction documentation
- Develop innovative spatial solutions that balance aesthetic vision with functional requirements
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors
- Manage client relationships and project timelines while maintaining design integrity
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for complex urban environments
- mentor junior designers and oversee quality control deliverables
- Stay current with emerging materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-end interior architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong portfolio showcasing residential and commercial projects
- LEED AP or NCIDQ certification preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in NYC building codes and regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
