Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of complex interior architecture projects, from conceptual design to construction administration.
- Develop innovative design concepts, space planning solutions, and material palettes that align with client vision and project goals.
- Produce comprehensive design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules using industry-standard software.
- Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial parameters.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and project delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Conduct site visits, field surveys, and collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure design integrity during construction.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and sustainable design practices to continuously enhance design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in interior architecture or interior design, preferably in high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial sectors.
- Professional licensure (NCIDQ certification or architectural registration) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and other relevant design software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of successful projects and a sophisticated design aesthetic.
- Proven ability to lead projects, manage client expectations, and effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction practices.
