Responsibilities
- Lead the full design process for multiple high-profile interior architecture projects from conceptualization to construction administration.
- Develop comprehensive design concepts, space plans, material palettes, and FF&E specifications that align with project goals and client visions.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, including drawings, schedules, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, communicating progress and potential issues to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior architectural and interior design staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects, building strong relationships and effectively presenting design solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and innovative technologies to continually enhance design offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of progressive professional experience in interior design or architecture, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end commercial or luxury residential projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Exceptional understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and construction methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring junior designers and leading project teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
- NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure preferred but not required.
