Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of interior architecture projects, from initial concept development and space planning to detailed design documentation and construction administration.
- Develop innovative and functional design solutions that align with client objectives, brand identity, and project budgets, ensuring design excellence and technical precision.
- Produce comprehensive drawing sets, specifications, and schedules, collaborating with external consultants and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Present design concepts and technical solutions to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, effectively communicating design intent and rationale.
- Mentor junior architects and designers, providing guidance and fostering professional growth within the project team.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful and on-time delivery of projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices to continuously elevate design quality.
- Collaborate effectively with the broader architectural team to integrate interior design seamlessly with the overall building design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in interior architecture, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and 3D rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape).
- Demonstrated experience in all phases of design, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction methods.
- Proven ability to lead project teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and mentor junior staff.
- NCARB certification, CID certification, or LEED AP accreditation is a significant plus.
