Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end interior architecture projects from conceptualization to installation
- Develop detailed design documentation including FF&E specifications, millwork drawings, and material palettes
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural engineers, MEP consultants, contractors)
- Conduct client presentations and manage project budgets/timelines
- Research and specify sustainable materials and innovative construction techniques
- Mentor junior designers and maintain design quality standards
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and ADA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-end interior architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape
- Strong portfolio demonstrating residential/commercial project execution
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
- Exceptional spatial problem-solving and detailing abilities
- Proven track record in client relationship management
- Knowledge of NYC zoning regulations and permitting processes
