Responsibilities
- Lead design development phases for high-end residential and commercial projects.
- Develop detailed construction document sets, including plans, elevations, and millwork details.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Select and specify materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that align with project budgets.
- Oversee on-site construction administration to ensure rigorous quality control.
- Mentor junior design staff and manage project timelines effectively.
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials and design narratives for client approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program.
- Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in luxury interior architecture.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and ADA compliance.
- Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
- Portfolio demonstrating high-level design sensibility and technical expertise.
- Professional licensure (RA or NCIDQ certification) is highly preferred.
