Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients within our advanced 30-bed ICU unit.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team including intensivists, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists.
  • Lead rapid response teams and manage life-sustaining interventions such as mechanical ventilation and ECMO.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics and bedside monitoring systems to anticipate and prevent adverse clinical events.
  • Mentor and onboard newly hired nursing staff to maintain our gold-standard clinical protocols and safety measures.
  • Provide compassionate education and psychological support to patients and their families during critical care transitions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an NLN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
  • Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-acuity Level I or II Trauma Center ICU.
  • Active CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification is highly preferred.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) provider status.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and the titration of vasoactive infusions.
