Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced risk modeling frameworks for property/casualty portfolios
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify emerging risk patterns
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to refine risk selection criteria and pricing strategies
- Prepare regulatory reports and ensure compliance with NAIC and state insurance regulations
- Mentor junior analysts while driving continuous improvement in risk assessment methodologies
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in insurance risk analysis or underwriting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical modeling tools (SAS, Python, R)
- ARM designation or progress toward ASA certification preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in predictive analytics and machine learning applications
- Strong understanding of insurance regulations and industry best practices
