Responsibilities
- Analyze complex insurance portfolios to quantify and mitigate financial risks
- Develop predictive models for claims forecasting and premium pricing
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to design tailored coverage solutions
- Stay current on regulatory changes affecting insurance markets
- Present risk assessments to executive stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Mentor junior analysts and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of property/casualty insurance experience
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/R for data analysis
- ARM, AU, or CPCU designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience with catastrophe modeling software
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business strategies
