Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of course design from discovery and storyboard to final implementation.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex concepts into accessible, interactive learning modules.
- Utilize Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Cloud to build immersive multimedia content.
- Conduct thorough learning needs analysis to align curriculum with organizational and learner goals.
- Design assessment strategies that accurately measure competency acquisition and learner success.
- Mentor junior designers and implement best practices in instructional design and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 compliance).
- Stay current with emerging educational technologies and pedagogical research to improve institutional standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in instructional design within higher education or corporate training.
- Expert-level proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle.
- Advanced skills in multimedia authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia).
- Deep understanding of ADDIE and SAM design models and adult learning theories.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines in an agile environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated UI/UX design skills tailored for educational platforms.
