Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Create high-quality e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, and blended learning strategies using ADDIE or SAM models.
- Subject Matter Expert Collaboration: Partner with SMEs to translate technical jargon into clear, actionable learning content.
- Tools & Tech: Utilize authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or Rise 360 to build interactive courses.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct audience analysis and training needs assessments to determine the most effective delivery methods.
- Quality Assurance: Review, edit, and refine existing course content to ensure accuracy, engagement, and compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Project Management: Manage multiple project timelines and coordinate with stakeholders across different time zones.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in instructional design, specifically within the corporate or EdTech sector.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating prior work is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript (basic), and Learning Management Systems (LMS) implementation.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, storytelling abilities, and a strong eye for visual hierarchy.
- Accessibility: Demonstrated understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
