Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive K-12 curriculum frameworks aligned with Common Core and state standards
- Create engaging digital and print learning materials including lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia resources
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness
- Analyze student performance data to refine curriculum and implement evidence-based improvements
- Lead training workshops for educators on implementing new curriculum initiatives
- Stay current with educational technology trends and integrate innovative tools into curriculum design
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in K-12 curriculum development or educational publishing
- Proven expertise in backward design and differentiated instruction methodologies
- Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable curriculum refinements
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration
- Teaching certification or prior classroom teaching experience required
