Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
- Lead threat hunting campaigns to proactively identify and neutralize advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in information security, network security, or a related role.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
