Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution to monitor and analyze network traffic for anomalies.
- Lead Incident Response efforts, conducting forensic analysis and coordinating recovery procedures for security breaches.
- Conduct regular Penetration Testing and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in our systems before malicious actors can exploit them.
- Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols, ensuring Zero Trust architecture principles are rigorously enforced.
- Secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) using best practices for encryption, network segmentation, and compliance.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees to reduce the human element of security risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience with threat hunting methodologies and security toolsets (e.g., Splunk, FireEye, Palo Alto).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and log analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
