Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies supporting business growth and employee retention
- Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning initiatives
- Oversee compensation structures, benefits programs, and performance management systems
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (EEO, ADA, FLSA)
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across all departments
- Manage HR budget and vendor relationships effectively
- Implement HR technology solutions to streamline operations
Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive HR experience with 5+ in leadership roles
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification required
- Expert knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance
- Proven experience scaling HR operations for 500+ employee organizations
- Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday/BambooHR preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making abilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
