Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Strategy: Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, source candidates through various channels, and oversee the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure quality hires.
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, conduct investigations regarding workplace conduct, and mediate conflict resolution with a focus on fairness and compliance.
- Performance Management: Design and implement performance review cycles, provide coaching to managers, and develop strategies for employee engagement and retention.
- Compliance & Policy Administration: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws (e.g., FLSA, ADA, FMLA) and ensure all HR policies, handbooks, and procedures are current and effectively communicated.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Execute seamless onboarding experiences for new hires to drive integration and retention, and manage offboarding procedures to preserve company culture.
- HRIS Management: Oversee the use of HR software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports for strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree or SHRM-CP/SPR or PHR certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong background in generalist functions and a focus on employee relations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, or similar) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
