Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to department leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational growth and performance.
- Talent Management: Lead the end-to-end talent lifecycle, including strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition support, performance management, and succession planning.
- Culture & Engagement: Design and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, and diversity and inclusion across the company.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts with a focus on fairness and compliance.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies, mitigating legal risks and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Learning & Development: Collaborate with L&D teams to create professional development pathways that support career progression and skill enhancement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 2-3 years in a strategic HRBP or management role.
- Certification: SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, or similar) and HR analytics tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of California labor laws and employment regulations.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
