Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development programs
- Partner with department heads to diagnose organizational challenges and design targeted interventions to improve performance, engagement, and retention
- Lead complex employee relations investigations, conflict resolution, and change management initiatives while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies through data analysis, program development, and cross-functional collaboration
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, conducting market analysis to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company values
- Oversee performance management systems, providing guidance to managers and implementing continuous improvement processes
- Utilize HR analytics to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and inform strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 8 years progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a strategic HR Business Partner role within tech or professional services
- Expert knowledge of California employment law, FLSA compliance, and HRIS systems (Workday experience highly valued)
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies and leadership development programs
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations
- Strong consulting skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority
- Experience leading DEI initiatives with measurable outcomes in diverse corporate environments
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate HR strategy to executive leadership
