Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Talent Management: Oversee the full talent lifecycle, from strategic workforce planning and recruitment to onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues, conducting investigations and mediating disputes to maintain a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Design and execute performance management frameworks to drive employee growth and organizational success.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices are up-to-date and compliant with UK employment legislation (ACAS, GDPR, etc.).
- Learning & Development: Lead the L&D function, identifying skill gaps and designing training programs that enhance capability across the organization.
- Payroll & Benefits: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate payroll processing and competitive benefits administration.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record of 5+ years in HR management, preferably within the technology or finance sectors.
- Education: CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification is essential.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of UK employment law, HR best practices, and employment legislation.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Tools: Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, or Cegid) and advanced MS Office skills.
- Attributes: Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and high emotional intelligence.
