We are seeking a dynamic Senior HR Generalist to join our growing team in New York. In this pivotal role, you will be the face of our People & Culture department, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
As a key strategic partner to leadership, you will shape our workplace culture, streamline our talent acquisition processes, and ensure our organization remains compliant with all labor laws.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, from talent sourcing and screening to onboarding and integration.
- Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Administer benefits administration, compensation, and payroll functions with high accuracy.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Design and deliver onboarding programs to accelerate new hire productivity.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
- Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a corporate or fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and ATS platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving startup environment.
