Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership on all human capital matters, including talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and compensation.
- Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that support business objectives, enhance employee engagement, and promote a positive work culture.
- Lead change management efforts, guiding departments through organizational transitions and ensuring smooth integration of new strategies.
- Oversee complex employee relations issues, conducting investigations, mediating conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Drive performance management cycles, including goal setting, reviews, and professional development plans, to foster continuous growth.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend data-driven solutions to improve HR effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for key roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leadership teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic HR planning, organizational development, talent management, and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations (especially New York State).
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Experience in the technology or innovation sector is a significant plus.
