Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute workforce planning strategies that align with business objectives.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving complex issues with a focus on conflict resolution and retention.
- Performance Management: Lead the performance management cycle, including goal setting, coaching, and delivering effective feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Organizational Development: Design and implement training programs, leadership development workshops, and initiatives to enhance organizational culture.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to refine hiring processes and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or SHRM-CP/SPHRC certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP or management role.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and advanced Excel skills.
- Legal Knowledge: Deep understanding of employment law and regulations in New York and across the United States.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex employee relations issues and driving cultural change initiatives.
