Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, handling complex inquiries and conflict resolution with empathy and professionalism.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws (NY State/Federal) and company standards.
- Design and deliver training programs focused on leadership development, DE&I, and employee engagement.
- Utilize HRIS (e.g., Workday or BambooHR) to track metrics, prepare reports, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless hiring process and strong employer branding.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist in a corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and regulatory compliance in New York.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience in driving organizational change and managing crisis situations.
