Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, handling complex inquiries and conflict resolution with empathy and professionalism.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws (NY State/Federal) and company standards.
  • Design and deliver training programs focused on leadership development, DE&I, and employee engagement.
  • Utilize HRIS (e.g., Workday or BambooHR) to track metrics, prepare reports, and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless hiring process and strong employer branding.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist in a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and regulatory compliance in New York.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated experience in driving organizational change and managing crisis situations.
