Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and drive high performance.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, conducting investigations, mediating conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Lead the performance management cycle, including goal setting, coaching, and calibration to ensure fair and consistent evaluation processes.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to refine hiring processes, advise hiring managers on best practices, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Change Management: Navigate organizational changes, including restructuring, mergers, or new initiatives, by providing clear communication and support to staff.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies, mitigating risk for the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification: SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP or People Partner role.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex HR concepts into actionable business insights.
- Problem Solving: Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with confidentiality and discretion.
