Responsibilities
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Partner with department heads to develop workforce plans that align with business objectives and support long-term growth.
- Employee Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, mediating conflicts, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, providing coaching and development opportunities to drive high performance.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to refine hiring strategies, improve candidate experience, and ensure a robust talent pipeline.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal company policies and procedures.
- Organizational Development: Design and implement programs that support employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong preference for experience in a high-growth tech environment.
- Certification: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and ATS platforms.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive evidence-based HR initiatives.
- Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations in California and the US.
