Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to department leaders, aligning HR strategies with business goals to drive organizational performance.
- Employee Relations: Manage complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Talent Management: Oversee the performance management cycle, including goal setting, coaching, and performance reviews to maximize employee engagement.
- Workforce Planning: Analyze workforce trends and develop talent acquisition strategies to ensure the right talent is in the right place at the right time.
- Culture & Engagement: Champion company culture initiatives, focus groups, and engagement surveys to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Compensation & Benefits: Partner with the HRIS team to review and optimize compensation structures and benefit programs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a strategic HRBP or HR Manager role.
- Certification: SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
- Problem Solving: Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of HRIS (e.g., BambooHR, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of federal and state employment laws, specifically in California.
