Your Role
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and HR initiatives. You will proactively identify talent needs, resolve complex employee relations issues, and implement policies that align with UK employment law and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary strategic partner to key business leaders, providing expert guidance on talent management, performance, and organizational development.
- Lead the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding and succession planning.
- Drive performance management processes, conducting regular reviews and coaching managers to ensure high standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with UK labor laws and regulations.
- Foster an inclusive culture that values diversity, equity, and belonging through proactive initiatives and engagement activities.
- Collaborate with the L&D team to design and deliver training programs that upskill the workforce.
Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent professional experience) is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a strategic Business Partner role.
- Deep understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making and HR metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Experience in managing complex employee relations cases and conflict resolution.
