Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and ETL pipelines to support clinical research and hospital administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, nurses, and IT specialists, to translate clinical requirements into technical specifications.
- Produce high-level dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and patient satisfaction metrics.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards across all analytical processes.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast patient volume and resource allocation needs.
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues, working to standardize data definitions across the organization.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to drive organizational change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Bio-statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, medical coding, or health informatics.
- Expert proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation; experience with Python or R for statistical analysis is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems (EHR/EMR), ICD-10 coding, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
