Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and ETL processes to support clinical reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data requirements.
- Utilize SQL, Python, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to generate real-time dashboards.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards across all analytical projects.
- Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices in data governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, medical coding, or health IT.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms.
- Deep understanding of healthcare terminology, regulatory compliance (HIPAA/HITECH), and EHR systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
