Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Epic and Cerner EHR systems.
- Analyze complex clinical datasets to identify trends and recommend process improvements for patient care.
- Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations, data privacy standards, and healthcare security protocols.
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to design and deploy advanced clinical dashboards and reporting tools.
- Conduct regular data integrity audits and troubleshoot system issues to maintain uptime and accuracy.
- Provide advanced training and technical support to medical staff regarding EHR functionalities and best practices.
- Translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Bioinformatics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Health Informatics, Clinical Systems, or Healthcare IT.
- Advanced proficiency in HL7, FHIR, and SQL for data extraction and reporting.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) or equivalent certification.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks and workflow processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of data.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
