Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Reporting: Design and implement comprehensive data reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and clinical metrics across the organization.
- Clinical Analytics: Conduct deep-dive analyses of patient data to identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for operational improvement and cost reduction.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with clinical staff, IT specialists, and executive leadership to translate data findings into strategic recommendations.
- System Optimization: Collaborate with IT to optimize EHR data structures and ensure seamless data integration between various healthcare platforms.
- Compliance & Privacy: Ensure all data analysis activities adhere to strict HIPAA regulations and internal data governance policies.
- Dashboard Development: Create interactive, user-friendly dashboards (using Tableau or PowerBI) to visualize complex datasets for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Biostatistics, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in health data analysis, healthcare operations, or a related clinical setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction; experience with Python or R for statistical modeling; strong command of visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare terminology, medical coding (ICD-10, CPT), and healthcare workflows.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex analytical findings to diverse audiences, including clinical providers and executive management.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex operational challenges through data.
