Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable UI: Design and implement responsive, component-based user interfaces that adhere to the highest standards of accessibility and usability in the financial sector.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize web application performance, ensuring sub-second load times and smooth interactions even with complex financial datasets.
- Security & Compliance: Collaborate with security experts to implement best practices for data protection, ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS and GDPR regulations within the frontend layer.
- API Integration: Integrate third-party financial APIs and internal microservices, managing real-time data streams for market updates and transaction processing.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and contribute to the team's engineering culture and documentation.
- Testing Strategy: Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and reduce bugs in production deployments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex web applications.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in React.js (or similar framework) and TypeScript is mandatory.
- Styling: Advanced knowledge of CSS3, SCSS, and CSS-in-JS solutions (e.g., Styled Components).
- Architecture: Deep understanding of state management (Redux, MobX) and component lifecycle management.
- Financial Domain: Experience working within the FinTech or Banking industry is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between design and engineering.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
