We are seeking a strategic Senior Fleet Manager to lead our logistics operations in Los Angeles. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance schedules of a fleet of 50+ commercial vehicles.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends in fuel consumption, vehicle performance, and maintenance costs.
- Develop and implement route optimization strategies to improve delivery times and reduce mileage.
- Ensure strict adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Lead, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for the dispatch and maintenance teams.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
- Manage budget allocation for repairs, parts procurement, and driver incentives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management or logistics coordination.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not required for the management role.
- Proven experience with fleet management software (e.g., Samsara, Geotab, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret vehicle telemetry and operational metrics.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
