Responsibilities
- Oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are maintained and drivers are scheduled efficiently.
- Analyze logistics data to optimize routes, reduce fuel consumption, and lower operational costs.
- Manage vendor relationships for vehicle repairs and maintenance services.
- Ensure strict adherence to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and driver performance reviews.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to align fleet resources with delivery schedules.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on fleet performance and budget utilization.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management or logistics coordination.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Transportation.
- Valid DOT Medical Card and CDL (Class A or B) preferred.
- Proficiency in fleet management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Fleetio).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
