Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable microservices architecture for high-frequency trading and banking applications using Java and Go.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce strict PCI-DSS compliance and data encryption standards across all payment processing pipelines and user data repositories.
- Performance Optimization: Deep-dive into database performance tuning, reducing query latency, and optimizing SQL/NoSQL queries for real-time financial reporting.
- API Development: Build and maintain robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless integration with third-party financial data providers (e.g., Plaid, Stripe).
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and deploy applications on AWS/GCP using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring 99.99% system availability.
- Mentorship: Conduct technical code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the Fintech or Banking sector.
- Technical Stack: Expert proficiency in Java, Python, or Go; deep experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Cloud & DevOps: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of cryptographic protocols, OAuth2, JWT, and general security best practices.
