Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for our core banking platform using Java and Spring Boot.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, SOX, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, security experts, and compliance officers.
- Optimize database queries and system architecture to handle high-volume transaction loads with low latency.
- Conduct code reviews, perform debugging, and implement best practices for software engineering.
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically within the Financial Services or Fintech sector.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go, with strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
