Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists and product managers to drive innovation in financial products.
- Optimize database queries and backend performance to handle peak transaction loads without latency.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high code quality standards.
- Lead technical troubleshooting and system architecture reviews for critical banking infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on backend systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go, with experience in Spring Boot or Django frameworks.
- Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (Cassandra, MongoDB).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, caching strategies, and API design (REST/GraphQL).
- Familiarity with fintech regulations (KYC, AML) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
