Responsibilities
- Develop and implement real-time risk monitoring systems using Python and SQL
- Lead stress testing scenarios for credit, market, and operational risk portfolios
- Present risk mitigation strategies to the Board of Directors quarterly
- Automate regulatory reporting (FR Y-9C, Call Reports) using Power BI
- Mentor junior analysts through our proprietary risk certification program
- Collaborate with IT to enhance cybersecurity risk assessment protocols
- Represent the firm at industry conferences including SIFMA and RMA
Qualifications
- 7+ years in financial risk management with Big 4 or bulge bracket experience
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (MS/MBA preferred)
- FRM certification required, CFA/PRM designation strongly preferred
- Expertise in Basel III/IV frameworks and IFRS 9 standards
- Proficiency in R, Python, and financial modeling software (Bloomberg, FactSet)
- Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide risk transformation projects
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex risk metrics
