Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end monthly and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee account reconciliations and identify discrepancies to maintain audit integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals during annual audits.
- Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Streamline financial processes and implement controls to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
