Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial portfolios using quantitative models to identify, measure, and mitigate credit, market, and operational risks
- Develop stress testing scenarios and regulatory compliance reports (Basel III/IV, CCAR) for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with trading desks to implement real-time risk controls and position management protocols
- Lead cross-functional risk committees presenting findings to C-suite executives and board members
- Design and enhance risk analytics dashboards using Python/R and SQL for data-driven decision making
- Mentor junior analysts while staying current on Fintech disruptors and regulatory evolutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (MBA/CFA/FRM preferred)
- 5+ years of financial risk analysis experience in investment banking or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL with experience in financial modeling libraries
- Demonstrated expertise in Basel frameworks, IFRS 9, and regulatory reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent presentation skills with experience communicating to senior leadership
- Series 7/63/86/87 licenses or willingness to obtain within 6 months
