As our Senior Financial Controller, you will be the backbone of our financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning initiatives in the heart of New York's financial district.
Responsibilities
- Direct all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Payroll.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under US GAAP.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard corporate assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide high-level financial analysis and actionable insights for business expansion.
- Manage external audit relationships and coordinate preparation of corporate tax filings.
- Optimize cash management processes and oversee liquidity planning and forecasting.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management capacity.
- Deep expertise in US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into strategic business outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and scaling finance departments.
- Impeccable communication skills and the ability to present financial findings to board-level stakeholders.
